No child should ever
have to grieve alone
Casey’s Place brings together kids and teens grieving the loss of a
parent or guardian in a compassionate, supportive environment.
A child who has lost a parent often feels isolated and misunderstood. At Casey’s Place, we offer monthly Saturday gatherings in a free, safe environment, where grieving kids between the ages of seven and seventeen can feel more supported and less alone.
It is our hope to provide a community of peers with whom grieving children can share their journey, process their grief, and find comfort in their shared experience.
Our mission
Casey’s Place exists to ensure that no child grieving the loss of a parent or guardian does it alone.
Now accepting members
Casey's Place provides peer-to-peer support, comfort, and therapeutic programming free of charge to children and teens, ages 7-17, grieving the death of a parent or guardian.
We currently serve the communities of Beverly, Danvers, Essex, Gloucester, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport.
Volunteers needed
Casey's Place is seeking caring adults aged 21 and older to volunteer. You don't need to have experienced the loss of a parent or guardian at a young age; you just need to be open to helping children and teens navigate their grief journey.
